Elan began Azur by introducing one of France’s most elegant wines here in the United States: dry rosé. The Provençal style of rosé was something that American consumers were not familiar with. Elan made it her sole intention to produce quality rosé which reflected the French style she had grown to love. Azur Rosé was the result of her inaugural release in 2007. Utilizing French techniques combined with quality Napa fruit, Elan produces a world class rosé honored as “America’s Best” in Vogue Magazine. With that momentum she began to incorporate limited production red wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon into Azur’s profile. Sourcing fruit from Napa’s most prized vineyards, she also produces an allocated, premium single vineyard label, Empreinte.
