A Heartfelt Thank You and Exciting Harvest Updates from Azur Wines
I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you. Whether you’ve visited us here at the barn or shared our wines with friends from afar, your continued support means the world to us. For those who’ve had the pleasure of joining us in Napa, you’ve likely heard me speak about what truly sets Azur apart from other wine producers. When it comes to premium winemaking, there are three fundamental components that we focus on:
The Vineyard
Exceptional winemaking starts with the land. We carefully select soils that reflect the unique characteristics of their environment—the best of Napa Valley. This foundation is critical to the expression of each wine’s place of origin.
Our Farmers and Partners
We work closely with farmers and partners who share our commitment to excellence. Their dedication to growing premium quality fruit is what brings out the true essence of each varietal and the soil it comes from.
The Winemaking Process
With these key elements in place, we craft wines that are reflective of these rich influences—elegant, balanced, and true to their roots, year after year. It’s this consistency and authenticity that you’ve come to know and love in Azur wines.
Harvest Update: 2024 – A Vintage to Look Forward To
We’re excited to share that we’ve just finished picking our Syrah and Grenache for our Rosé, a wine that many of you have fallen in love with over the years. Additionally, we’ve started harvesting our Cabernet Sauvignon, and all signs point to an exceptional vintage this year. While the yield is lower than usual, this often results in higher quality fruit—small but mighty, a true reflection of Napa’s best.
Come Visit Us at the Barn!
If you’re planning a trip to Napa, we’d love to welcome you to the barn to share a glass or two. And if Napa isn’t in your near future, thank you for continuing to enjoy our wines at home and sharing them with friends. Your support means everything to us, and we can’t wait to see you again soon.
Cheers,
Elan Fayard
